Become a Sweetwater County Certified Tourism Ambassador! Join this four-hour training on October 19 to explore local history, strengthen customer service skills and connect with your community. The $39 cost includes brunch.

Discover more about the place you call home and become a Sweetwater County Certified Tourism Ambassador (CTA)! Join us Monday, October 19, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Western Wyoming Community College in Rock Springs.

This engaging training explores local history, recreation, arts, dining, outdoor adventures and community events while building valuable customer service skills. Whether you’re a student, working professional, retiree or simply interested in getting involved, CTA welcomes everyone—across all industries.

Earn a nationally recognized certification, strengthen your resume and connect with others who share your enthusiasm for Sweetwater County. Certification also includes free monthly CTA events to learn more about the area and network with fellow ambassadors.

The four-hour class costs $39 per person and includes brunch. Participants will receive reading materials by email before class and complete an open-book test at the end of training. Employers registering three or more employees qualify for a discount.
