Fishing in Sweetwater County, Wyoming is angler heaven. Between the lurking brown trout in the Green River at Seedskadee National Wildlife Refuge, all the way down to depths of Lake Flaming Gorge, you’ll find ample opportunity to hook ‘em and hold ‘em.

Day 1: Morning to Afternoon

Travel to Seedskadee National Wildlife Refuge and experience world-class fly-fishing on the Green River above Flaming Gorge.
Eat a picnic lunch on the riverbanks.
Take some time to soak up the scenery, relax or maybe try a few different patterns or lures to see if you can entice more trout.

How to Spend the evening

Enjoy a uniquely spectacular dinner at the Hitching Post Restaurant & Saloon in Green River. Settle in for a good night’s rest.

Day 2: Morning to Afternoon

Travel to Lake Flaming Gorge rent a boat at one of the marinas in the area. Set afloat and go fishing on the lake! Take a lunch break at The Snag Bar & Grill, a floating restaurant at Cedar Springs Marina. The Snag Bar & Grill is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday 11 a.m. – 10 p.m. Return to the water at Lake Flaming Gorge and tube, wakeboard, jet-ski or fish until the sun sets.

How to spend the evening

Return to Rock Springs for dinner at Bonsai and stay the night in Rock Springs.
